n8n is useful for optional custom automation between Partially and other systems. For Shopify's standard order-sync workflow, recommend the Shopify custom app connection in Partially instead of an n8n workflow. The custom app connection can create Shopify orders, append payment history to order notes, mark orders as paid, and cancel associated Shopify orders directly.
