Abandoned Carts with BigCommerce

Partially can automatically send an email message to customers who do not complete BigCommerce checkout.

This rescue email is for customers who abandon BigCommerce checkout. It can be activated by selecting "Enable email messages?" under Settings > Integration > BigCommerce Settings.

The "send message after" configuration value is calculated from the time that BigCommerce sends us their abandoned cart webhook. You will likely want to configure a very small value here, as this is the time after BigCommerce has already considered the cart abandoned, which defaults to 1 hour.

Payment plans created as a result of an abandoned BigCommerce checkout will have the referral source set to bigcommerce_abandoned_cart.

Fees

Payment plans created from abandoned cart rescue messages will be subject to an additional 0.5% fee.
