We block requests from specific IP addresses for a few reasons.

These two errors indicate that we've received too many requests too quickly from your IP address; first error:

We've received too many requests from your IP address and have temporarily restricted access. Please try again later

Second error:

We've received too many requests from your IP address and have temporarily restricted access

If you see either of the above two errors, wait at least five (5) seconds and then try again.

This error indicates that we've detected too many failed login attempts from your IP address:

We've noticed suspicious activity from your IP address, so you are temporarily blocked. Please contact us if you think this is a mistake

If you see the above error, you will be blocked from logging-in, or loading the login page, for a full day (24 hours). Please contact our team at support@partial.ly to have your IP address unblocked.

You can find your public Internet IP address (the IPv4 address) in a variety of ways, including by searching for "what is my ip address" using a web search engine (e.g. Google). This is a link for such a search using Google.

If you're not aware of any failed login attempts, you may want to reset your account's password by clicking the "Forgot your password?" link on the login page after entering your email address.
