Partially can automatically send an email message to customers who do not complete Bigcommerce or Partial.ly checkout. Offering your customers a payment plan option can help you recover lost sales.
Payment plans created from abandoned cart rescue messages will be subject to an additional 0.5% fee.
You can activate 2 types of abandoned cart emails:
Type 1: Recover abandoned Bigcommerce checkouts
This rescue email is for customers who abandon Bigcommerce checkout. It can be activated by selecting 'Enable email messages?' under Settings > Integration > Bigcommerce Settings.
The 'send message after' configuration value is calculated from the time that BigCommerce sends us their abandoned cart webhook. Note that you will likely want to configure a very small value here, as this is the time after BigCommerce has already considered the cart abandoned, which defaults to 1 hour.
Payment plans created as a result of an abandoned BigCommerce checkout will have the referral source set to bigcommerce_abandoned_cart
Type 2: Recover abandoned Partia.ly checkouts
This rescue email is for customer's who abandon Partial.ly checkout. It can be activated by selecting 'Enable email messages?' under Abandoned Cart > Settings.
